![]() | In December 2007, The Bouga Luv Development Foundation framework was established by Kabelo Mabalane as part of his brand plan, to address the socio-economic challenges faced by the black youth in the field of sports and the areas identified through his personal experience as a musician over the past 15 years, coupled with his personal commitment to marathon running over the past 3 years. The programme is endorsed and supported by Professor Tim Noakes. “It gives me great pleasure to endorse the first Bouga Luv Sports Development Programme. The Bouga Luv Development Programme recognises the role that sport has to play in people’s lives of young children through its strong commitment to encourage, develop and enable opportunities for sports participation throughout the South Africa among all sectors of the community. The Bouga Luv Strategy provides a framework for the development of sport in the South Africa over the five year period 2009 –2013, and proves the value of sport by demonstrating its ability to contribute towards the wider social issues of Healthy Living, Social Inclusion, community Safety, Economic Development and Sustainability. I commend the concept, and encourage you to please take the time to consider their proposal”
